Burglars Cart Off With $$ & Tools From Tool Town

The owners of a local business are now counting their losses following a break-in earlier this week.

When contacted, Police Information Officer, Diane Drayton told BVI Platinum News that Police are investigating a burglary that took place at Tool Town, Port Purcell.

She said according to the report made to Police, the incident took place sometime in the evening of Monday, July 30 and the early morning of July 31.

Drayton said several tools were taken, including electric power tools and cash.

When contacted for a comment, the proprietor of the store declined.

Police are continuing their investigations.

The theifs know exactly what business to hit. If you don't have some type of security cameras installed in your business, you are nothing more than a sitting duck in a pond waiting to be robbed. I do agree with another blogger, stop being cheap and spend the money on a seurity system to protect... more

No surprise to me, the sticky finger bandit have striked again. I agree, smells like an inside job. You hard headed business owners need to stop being cheap and install proper security cameras in and around your business. Everytime carnival come around the youngsters or whoever takes part in these irresponsible crimes need more money to look good. They so shallow and have no ambition.
